President's Message

Membership is coming along, but there are still a lot that has not sent their renewals. We’re hoping to be at 100% by January 1. We are at about 65% now.

The Auxiliary will be cooking Thanksgiving dinner at the Post. We will serve 2-5PM, so come join in the fun. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!

Please don’t forget our Angel Tree and Barbara’s Kids at the Jackson Day Care Center programs.

The Angel Tree (benefiting the Children’s Home Society of the Palm Beaches) will have 30 names. We ask that you come in to select a name and purchase a $20 gift (don’t forget to wrap it). If you want to help but don’t want to shop, select a child and give us $20…We’ll take care of the rest.

For Barbara’s Kids we are collecting gifts for the 100 children aged 2-5 at the center. There will be a box for the toys by the tree. The center also needs 100 cupcakes, so look for the sign up sheet. Gifts must be in no later than December 15.

Remember all our men and women in harm’s way and say a special prayer for their safe return.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
	Ladies, Driving home from my vacation in Virginia and North Carolina, we saw many people heading south, so many of our winter members are arriving daily. I hope that we will see all of them in the Post soon! The Legion Family is working to get the Post back to its potential! We have entertainment almost every Friday night. Please remember to sign up for dinners; it is hard to know how much food to make or even if we’ll make enough to pay for entertainment if you don’t sign up. *We will have a variety of entertainment so there is something for everyone. If you haven’t been in lately, come in and see us. We miss you!*
